APEX WOLVES
Apex Wolves are a premier Rep Team rooted in the foundation of Northball Athletics, established by Iyan Kulendran, Deon Williams, and Earl James. These visionaries shared a common goal: to create a Rep team that transcends traditional sports teams. They aimed to build a club in Scarborough, Ontario, that not only sharpens athletic abilities but also integrates mental health awareness, life principles, and the importance of mindfulness. To further this vision, a collaboration with Daniel Mullings, Mecha Clarke, and Unlocked Soulz was a natural fit, enhancing the program’s mission to cultivate an environment where youth and children can flourish both individually and as part of a unified pack.
Central to Apex Wolves is the “Wolf Mentality”—a philosophy that underscores strength, resilience, and leadership. Wolves, known for their ability to conquer challenges while remaining dominant, draw their true power from their pack. In a wolf pack, every member plays a vital role—whether as a leader, protector, or hunter. This collective unity and shared purpose define the spirit of Apex Wolves. We are a pack, and we have each other’s backs.
Each player is encouraged to leverage their unique strengths while embracing the significance of teamwork and collective achievement.
THE LOWDOWN
The package
Each registered participant in our rep teams will receive two Apex Wolves jersey outfits, featuring numbers for practice and games. They will also have the opportunity to advance to subsequent rep team tryouts, demonstrating their progress and readiness for higher levels of competition.

Tryouts will take place on April 26th
We will compete in the Coalition Summer League starting in June 2025.

MENTAL HEALTH TRAINING WITH
UNLOCKED SOULZ
Unlocked Soulz is an organization founded by Daniel Mullings and Mecha Clarke, dedicated to empowering individuals through a holistic approach to well-being and personal development. The organization offers educational resources that help cultivate present-moment awareness, enhance focus, and promote overall well-being through practices such as meditation and mindful living.
In addition to these resources, Unlocked Soulz provides motivational materials designed to inspire and uplift. These materials deliver positive messages, personal development insights, and encouraging narratives that foster motivation and goal attainment.
Unlocked Soulz also actively engages in youth-oriented wellness programs and initiatives. These activities promote overall health, vitality, and a balanced lifestyle through holistic approaches, ensuring that young people have the tools they need to thrive.
Joining forces with Northball Academy was a no-brainer for Unlocked Soulz, as both organizations share a common goal of supporting and guiding the younger generation toward positive life paths and strong personal development.
